Join The Brinton Museum at the WYO Theater on Thursday, July 16 for a special screening of I Am Only a Craftsman, a documentary by director Salvatore M. Brown. The film traces the quiet, decades-long friendship between master leather carvers Jim Jackson of Wyoming and Taka Otsuka of Japan, exploring the global reach of the Sheridan Style of leather tooling and the shared values of craftsmanship, humility, and excellence. Following the screening, guests are invited to stay for a panel discussion expanding on the film’s themes of cross-cultural exchange, tradition, and the enduring power of art.
